1. What are the admissions requirements to enter the Primary Treatment Program?
3. Individual Personal Possession Policy. Clients are to bring no more than seven changes of clothing. This includes church, casual, and other attire. If you do not have clothing, arrangements will be made with social agencies to meet your needs. Individuals are asked and encouraged to bring toiletry and other items, i.e. laundry detergent, bleach, towels, wash cloths, shower shoes, and casual/tennis shoes, etc. Cigarettes and a lighter, if you smoke. You are asked to keep no more than $30 per week to purchase personal items. (It is recommended that you bring quarters or single bills). The Friendship Connection asks that jewelry be limited to a value of $50.
4. When can a client receive visitors? Please refer to the visitor's agreement at the bottom of this page.
5. What is the cost of treatment? The fee for admission into the primary and transitional residential program is affordable and with the availability of a payment plan. Please call admission department at (601) 373-1533 ext. 2 for price details.
6. Are cell phones allowed in treatment? Cell phones are only allowed for transitional residents, per approval from their counselor.
- Alcohol and/or drug problem
- Pregnant up to the third trimester with referral services provided to a DMH certified treatment facility. Documented statement from a physician that individual is suitable for treatment.
- Parenting with or without a legal history. Incarcerated females that are eligible to be released on Court Order or Drug Court, Parole and Probation.
- Documented TB skin test that must be submitted at the time of admission.
- Completion of the program's pre-screening process.
- An individual that needs to be detoxed will be provided detox services in accordance with the Specified Department of Mental Health Withdrawal Management protocol.
